Organized by the European Commission, Austrian Development Agency and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, the webinar "Building climate resilient societies - Strengthening weather, climate and early warning services" will take place on 17 February, at 10:00 – 11:30 CET via Webex, and the registrations are open here.

The webinar brings together a variety of actors in Africa, Asia and Europe representing public and private sectors as well as the civil society to discuss adaptation to climate change and the role of meteorology and early warning in building climate resilient societies. The goal is to provide the participants with a holistic understanding of the early warning value chain, different stakeholders involved in it as well as opportunities and challenges faced in strengthening the whole value chain so that it can efficiently contribute to increased climate resilience.

The speakers will draw from their professional experience and knowhow with a focus on presenting concrete examples that lead, or are likely to lead, to sustainable solutions and increased resilience.

If you experience any issues with the registration, please send an email to INTPA-ACADEMY@ec.europa.eu.

This webinar has been organized in the framework of the Green Recovery e-learning package, an online learning initiative developed through the Learn4dev network and in the context of Team Europe.
