The Annual Meeting is an occasion to get together, attend interactive and lively debates, discuss and update the network partners on the state of play in development-related activities. The network meets each year for a joint learning exchange and to decide on future strategies.
The Annual Meeting 2020 was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 crisis. However, the learn4dev network is organising smaller activities such as webinars and online exchanges that will replace the AM2020.

This virtual session will address one of the issues that have come into sharper focus in the past months, during unprecedented shock for individuals and organizations. Organizational learning is an expansive and diverse field with influences. It is commonly described as a process of developing, retaining, and transferring knowledge within an organization.
We will look at how learning changed for individuals and how institutions, whose main mission is to provide access to various types of learning, have dealt with the new world situation during the pandemic. In this session, three Learn4dev member organizations will join forces to present their experiences and practices. Participants will also be invited to share their, views and contributions through discussions in break-out rooms.
The Annual Meeting 2021 will focus on how to create a gender transformative learning environment. Participants will discuss, among other things, about which resistances and bias can hinder gender equality in training and what strategies can be followed to promote gender equality principles in all phases of training. More information about the AM 2021 will be shared with the members of the network.
